Area of production: 20 kilometres south-west of Epernay in
the heart of the Surmelin Valley, an area is traditionally renowned for the
quality of the Meunier grape.
The Moutardier family have been
established in their village of Le Breuil since 1750 and produce 5 award
winning, Meunier dominated Champagnes including their Gold medal winning Cuvee

Champagne Moutardier is a family concern intimately attached to their village called Le Breuil, situated just 20 kilometers south-west of Epernay.
Nestling in the heart of the Surmelin Valley, the district is traditionnally renowned for the quality of the Meunier grape, indigenous to the region of « La Vallée de la Marne ».

Tasting notes:
A selection of Meunier from the Vallée of the Surmelin.
Visual Appreciation: A pale golden yellow colour with a lively scintillating sparkle developping into a white creamy mousse.
Nose and Tasting: A delightfully dry, refreshing, light Champagne. Aromas of fresh white fruits with a perfect balance and a racy complexity on the finish.
